How Trusted Garage handles service requests saved in your browser. The site does not take payment or confirm appointments.
Last updated 14 October 2026. This notice describes the Trusted Garage website as it is published. It covers the service request form and the service details form. It does not describe a checkout, a membership account, or a mobile app.
Who this notice is about
Trusted Garage provides vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair at Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary. You can call +36 20 838 2111 or email [email protected]. A legal entity name, a registration number, and a tax number are not published here, so this notice does not invent them. Questions about the notice can be written into the request form, sent to that email address, or asked by phone. The form stores a note on your device and should open an email draft. It does not, by itself, deliver the note to a server operated by this website.
What you can submit
The forms ask for a name and an email address. A phone number, a service type, a vehicle make and model, a preferred date, a subject, and a message are available. A vehicle identification number is not requested. Payment card numbers are not requested. Please do not put card numbers, passwords, or identity document numbers in the message.
When you submit, the browser saves a copy in local storage under the key tg-inquiries. The copy includes the fields you filled in. Up to twenty recent requests are kept. The page then shows a note that the copy was saved, and it should open an email draft addressed to [email protected]. You send that draft from your own email app. The page does not say that an appointment is confirmed, and it does not say that a message was delivered. The website itself does not transmit the form to a server.
Where the copy lives
Saved requests can be reviewed and removed on the contact page and on the service details page. Those copies stay on the device where you created them. They are not synced to another computer. Anyone who can use that browser profile can read them, so use a private device if the note contains a personal phone number.
The pages do not ask you to create a password. They do not run a shopping cart, and they do not collect card numbers, bank details, or a billing address through a payment form. They do not include a comments system, a review form, or a rating control. The scripts on this site do not set advertising cookies and do not call an analytics product.
What the site does with the information
The website itself stores the request only in your browser. It does not sell personal information. It does not use the form to build a public review. A preferred date is stored as text you supplied. It is not written into a booking calendar, because this website does not operate one.
Fonts and how long a copy stays
Pages request typefaces from Google Fonts when they load. That request is made by your browser to Google. The cookie policy explains it. Our own scripts do not set a cookie to record the visit.
A saved request remains until you press “Remove saved requests”, until you clear site data for this website, or until the browser drops local storage. Removing the copy on one device does not affect another device.
The website is about vehicle service. It is not directed at children, and the forms should be used by people who can make a service inquiry for a vehicle. Nothing in this notice is a repair warranty, a price, or a statement that an appointment is booked.
A service card does not write a category name into local storage by itself. The only local copy is the one created when you submit the contact form or the service details form. Read the cookie policy and the terms with this page.
Privacy notice in more detail
This longer part of the notice explains the same facts as the sections above, with more detail about each step. It is written for the website as it is published on 14 October 2026. If a later change to the pages changes what the form does, the notice should be read in the version published with that change. The notice is not a description of a workshop management system, a parts catalog, or a payment provider. None of those systems is connected to these pages.
The workshop this notice names
The website uses the name Trusted Garage. The published address is Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary. The published phone number is +36 20 838 2111. The published email address is [email protected]. Those are the contact details you can use if you have a question about this notice or about a vehicle service. This notice does not add a company registration number, a tax number, or a separate privacy-office address, because those details are not published on the site. Do not invent them in order to complete a form of your own. If a process you are following requires a registration number, ask the workshop by phone or email rather than copying a number from somewhere else and attributing it to this site.
The services described on the site are vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and auto repair. The privacy notice applies to the website, not to every conversation that might later happen by phone or in person. A phone call you place is handled by your telephone provider and by the people who answer. An email you send is handled by your email provider and by the mailbox at [email protected]. This notice tells you what the website itself does before that point. It does not claim to describe the internal records of a workshop beyond the pages you can read here.
Pages that collect something, and pages that do not
Most pages only display text and images. Opening the home page, the services catalog, the diagnostics page, the brake service page, the maintenance page, the car care notes, the about page, the FAQ, the disclaimer, the terms, or this privacy page does not ask you to type personal information and does not write a request into local storage. Using the search box or the filter on the services page does not send the words you type to a server operated by this website. Expanding an accordion on the FAQ or the car care page does not record which question you opened.
The pages that collect what you type are the contact form and the service details form. Both use the same kind of fields. The short forms on the home page and the about page collect a name, an email address, and a service choice only for the purpose of carrying those values to the contact page in the address bar of your browser. They do not, by themselves, write the tg-inquiries list. If you do not continue and submit the contact form, the short form has not created a saved request. The values may still appear in your browser history as part of the contact page address. Browser history is controlled by your browser, not by a script on this site.
The fields, one by one
Name is required. It is the name you want used in the request. The site does not check it against an identity document. Email is required. It should be an address you read, because a reply, if one is sent, would use the address you provide. The site does not verify that the mailbox exists. Phone is optional. If you leave it blank, the draft simply omits it. If you fill it in, it is stored in the local copy and placed in the draft. Service type is a choice from a fixed list of workshop categories. It is not a free-text diagnosis. Vehicle make and model is optional free text. Preferred date is optional. It is stored as the date you picked. It is not checked against a calendar of free appointments, because the website has no such calendar. Subject is optional free text. Message is required free text and should contain the question.
The site does not add hidden fields for advertising identifiers, account numbers, or location coordinates. It does not ask for your age, your payment card, your bank account, or a copy of a driving licence. Please do not place those items in the message. If you do, they will be treated like any other text you typed: kept in the local copy on your device and copied into the email draft. The website has no separate secure payment vault because it has no payment function. Extra sensitive text in the message is not protected by a payment form that does not exist.
Local storage, in practical terms
After you submit, the site script reads the form and writes a list to the browser’s local storage under the key tg-inquiries. Local storage is a small store that belongs to the browser profile and to this site’s address. The list is a set of requests. Each saved request can contain the fields above and the time the script recorded when you submitted. The script keeps at most twenty requests. When a new request would exceed that, older entries can be dropped. The list is not encrypted by the website with a password you chose, because the website never asks you to create a password. Anyone who can use the browser profile can open the developer tools, or simply look at the on-page list, and read the text.
The on-page list is shown on the contact page and on the service details page. It is a convenience so you can see what was saved without using developer tools. The button labeled to remove saved requests deletes the key. After that, the list on both pages is empty until you submit again. Clearing site data, cookies, and cached files in the browser’s settings will also remove the key, together with anything else the browser stored for the site. Using a private or incognito window usually discards the store when the window closes. The website does not keep a second copy to restore what the browser discarded.
The website does not synchronize tg-inquiries to a server, to another browser, or to a phone. If you submit on a computer at work and later open the site on your phone, the phone will not show the work computer’s list. If you send the email draft, the email is a separate copy that lives in your mail account and, if the message is delivered, in the mailbox you addressed. Deleting local storage does not delete mail. Sending mail does not delete local storage. They are two copies created by two different actions.
The email draft
The script builds a mailto link to [email protected]. The subject is the subject you typed, or the service name, or the words “Service request” if both are empty. The body is a plain-text list of the fields that have values. The script then tries to open that link, which asks your device to open an email application. Whether an application opens depends on the device. A computer with a mail program usually opens a draft. A browser that blocks the link, or a device with no mail program, may do nothing visible. The page still saves the local copy and still shows the note. It does not retry in the background, and it does not send the message by itself through a hidden request.
You are the sender. You can edit the draft, add a sentence, or close it without sending. Closing it means the workshop email address has not been given that message by you. The local copy remains until you remove it. If you send the draft, your email provider transmits it according to that provider’s own terms. This website does not sit in the middle of that transmission and cannot show you a delivery receipt. Spam filters, a full mailbox, or a mistyped address are outside what the page can detect. The note on the form is written to avoid the false sentence “your message was delivered.”
What the website does not do with the text
The website does not sell the text, does not rent it, and does not append it to a marketing list. It does not publish it as a review, a testimonial, or a rating. It does not use it to train a public comment thread, because there is no comment thread. It does not add you to a newsletter, because there is no newsletter signup. It does not use the preferred date to create a reservation. It does not use the service name to charge a card. It does not share the local storage list with an analytics product, because the scripts do not call an analytics product.
There is no account, so there is no profile page another visitor can open. There is no public directory of people who submitted a form. A person looking at the services catalog cannot see your message. Only someone with access to your browser profile, or someone who receives an email you chose to send, can read what you wrote.
Google Fonts
Each page includes a link that asks your browser to download the typefaces used for headings and body text from Google Fonts. That request goes from your browser to Google. It includes the technical information a browser normally sends when it fetches a file, such as the address of the file and the network information your connection provides. This website does not add your form text to that font request. The form text is not sent to Google by the site script. Google’s handling of the font request is governed by Google’s own terms and policies, which this page does not reproduce. If you block the request, the pages still load and the browser uses fallback fonts. The cookie policy describes the same link from the point of view of cookies. Our scripts do not set a cookie as part of the font link.
Cookies and similar technologies
The scripts that run the menu, the catalog filter, the accordions, and the form do not set cookies. They do not set tracking pixels. They do not embed advertising. They do not embed video players or social-media buttons that would set cookies of their own. There is no cookie banner, because a banner would pretend to offer a choice about cookies the site does not set. Local storage used for tg-inquiries is not a cookie, but it is similar in the everyday sense that it is data kept by the browser. It is created only after you submit a request form. Read the cookie policy together with this section so the distinction stays clear.
How long information stays
A local copy stays until you remove it, until the twenty-item limit drops it, until you clear site data, or until the browser discards the store. The website does not apply a separate expiry measured in days, because it does not run a server copy with a retention schedule. An email you send stays according to your mail provider and according to the mailbox that receives it. This notice cannot state a number of days for that mailbox, because that retention is not published here and is not controlled by the page script. Phone calls are not recorded by the website. The website does not state a retention period for call records because it does not create them.
Children and other people’s information
The website is about vehicle service. It is not directed at children, and it is not a site for collecting information about children. The forms should be used by someone who is arranging a question about a vehicle. Do not submit information about another person unless you have a reason to do so and you are allowed to share it. Do not submit a child’s name, a child’s contact details, or a photograph of an identity document. The site has no separate product for minors and no parental account.
Security, and the limits of it
The local copy is only as private as the device and the browser profile. A shared computer, a saved login on a public machine, or a stolen device can expose the list. The site cannot lock that list with an account password because it has no accounts. Use a device you trust if the message contains a phone number or any detail you consider private. The email draft is only as private as your mail account and the path between you and the recipient. The website does not offer end-to-end encryption of its own. Do not use the form for secrets that need a stronger channel than ordinary email and local browser storage.
The pages are static files. They do not include a customer database that this notice could promise to encrypt at rest. The meaningful security step on the website side is the decision not to transmit the form to a server in the first place, and the decision not to ask for payment details. Those decisions reduce what can leak from the site. They do not make a shared browser safe, and they do not make email safe. The honest instruction is to type only what you are willing to store on that device and to send by ordinary email.
Your choices
You can read every service page and never submit a form. You can call +36 20 838 2111 or email [email protected] without using the form. You can submit, then delete the local copy. You can close a draft without sending it. You can block Google Fonts and continue to read. You can clear site data at any time. You can ask a question about this notice by phone, by email, by a visit to Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary, or by the same form, understanding that the form behaves as this notice describes. The site cannot show you a server-side export of your data, because it does not keep a server-side copy. The copy you can review is the one on the device, and the mail you can review is the mail you sent.
What this notice is not
This notice is not a repair warranty, not a price list, not a confirmation that an appointment exists, and not a statement of opening hours. It is not a claim that Trusted Garage is an authorized dealer or an official manufacturer service center. It is not legal advice to you about the laws of every country from which the site might be read. It describes the website’s actual behavior so you can decide whether to type into the form. The terms and the disclaimer govern the use of the text and the limits of what the service pages promise. If you do not want a local copy or an email draft, do not press the button. The pages remain readable without it.
Questions that this notice cannot answer from published facts — a registration number, a tax number, a data-protection officer’s separate address, a retention period inside a private mailbox — stay unanswered here on purpose. Contact the workshop through the published phone, email, or address if you need to ask. Do not treat silence as permission to insert a fact the pages never stated.
Reading this notice before you type
If you want the shortest practical reading, it is this. The contact form and the service details form store what you type in this browser under tg-inquiries and open a draft to [email protected] that you must send yourself. The site does not run an account, a payment page, or a booking calendar. It does not set cookies with its own scripts. It does ask the browser to load fonts from Google. The published place to ask about the notice is Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary, by phone at +36 20 838 2111 or by email at [email protected]. Opening hours, a registration number, and a tax number are not part of the notice because they are not published.
If you want the careful reading, use the sections above for each field, for the difference between the local copy and the email, and for the limits of a shared computer. Neither reading creates a right to a server-side export, because there is no server-side copy to export. The copy you can see is on the device. The mail you can see is the mail you sent. That is the whole of what this website holds, and it is why the notice is long about a simple form: the length is there to stop a short form being mistaken for a confirmed appointment or a hidden database.
