FAQ
Auto Service FAQ
Answers about services, requests, and how to ask about a service.
The questions we answer here
You can explore vehicle diagnostics, engine diagnostics, brake service, suspension service, steering service, oil and filter service, electrical diagnostics, battery service, cooling system service, tire and wheel service, preventive maintenance, and vehicle inspection. Each card is a type of service, not a confirmed booking and not a priced package.
Open Services to filter by type, sort by name, or search the words on the cards. The filters do not sort by price, because this website does not display prices.
Vehicle diagnostics is the category for inspection and testing aimed at finding the area of a mechanical or electrical issue. It includes warning-light questions, engine checks, and electrical checks.
The page does not diagnose a specific car. Read Vehicle Diagnostics and the warning-light note.
Open Contact or Service Details. Enter your name, email, the service, and the question. When you submit, a copy is saved in this browser.
The page does not confirm that the message was delivered, and it does not confirm an appointment. A preferred date is stored as a note. There is no checkout and no price.
Drivers commonly ask for a brake inspection when stopping feels different, when a new noise appears, or when a brake warning light is on. The brake service page describes that category.
The site does not measure your brakes from a description. An inspection is a workshop activity.
Contact and limits
No. Trusted Garage provides vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair. It is not an authorized dealer, an official service center, or a manufacturer-approved workshop.
Service names describe the kind of work people ask about. They are not a claim of partnership or authorization. The full wording is on the disclaimer.
A useful request includes the service you are asking about, the vehicle make and model, and the question or symptom in plain sentences. A year can help. A phone number is optional.
A vehicle identification number is not required. Do not send card numbers. The form does not take payment.
Use the form on the contact page, call +36 20 838 2111, or email [email protected]. The workshop is at Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary. Submitting the form saves the request in this browser and should open an email draft.
Opening hours are not published. The form does not confirm that a message was delivered and does not confirm an appointment.
Yes. Go to Services or Service Details and write the question before you treat anything as scheduled.
Saving a request is not scheduling. Opening a category does not reserve it.
Prices, requests, and what is not listed
This website does not display prices, currencies, discounts, or a price filter. It does not take payment. A service card is a description. It is not a quote. If a later conversation outside this website discusses cost, that conversation is separate from these pages.
The contact form and the service details form store a request in local storage on your device under a key named tg-inquiries. You can remove those copies with the button on either page. The site does not run an account, and it does not publish reviews or star ratings. The scripts do not set cookies. Pages do request fonts from Google, which the cookie policy describes.
The published contacts are Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary, +36 20 838 2111, and [email protected]. Opening hours are not published, so the FAQ does not invent them. The same is true of staff names, years in business, counts of vehicles, awards, and manufacturer approvals. The disclaimer is the page that states those limits in full.
More answers about the workshop and the site
The questions above cover the points people ask first: what the workshop does, how a category differs from a diagnosis, what the form does, and which contacts are printed. This section continues in the same voice. It does not add prices, hours, ratings, or approvals that the accordion refused to invent. Where a fact is printed, it is repeated so you do not have to hunt. The address is Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary. The phone is +36 20 838 2111. The email is [email protected].
Is a service card an offer with a fixed scope?
A card names a category and gives a short description of the kind of work the category refers to. It is not a fixed scope of work for every car, and it is not a quote. Two cars can need different attention under the same card name. The way to ask about a particular car is to name the car and the question. The card will not grow a price or a parts list because you clicked it. “Ask about this service” means the next step is a conversation, a call, an email, or the form.
Why are some services full pages and others only details?
Diagnostics, brake service, and maintenance have their own pages because those topics carry more explanation. Engine diagnostics, suspension, steering, oil and filters, electrical diagnostics, battery service, cooling, tires, preventive maintenance, and vehicle inspection open the shared service details page with the category selected. The form is the same either way. The menu stays short enough to use. Nothing about the shorter path means the service is unavailable. The catalog still lists it.
Can the site tell me what failed?
No. A warning light, a noise, or a leak described in a paragraph is not a diagnosis. The diagnostics page explains that a check is a workshop activity. The website has no link to your car. A reply, if you receive one after you call, email, or send the draft, is the place where a specific car can be discussed. Until then, keep the message descriptive. “The pedal feels long and the car pulls left when I brake” is a description. “The left caliper has failed” is a conclusion the site cannot support.
What happens if I pick a preferred date?
The date is stored in the local copy and written into the email draft as text you supplied. It is not written into a calendar on this website, because the website does not run a booking calendar. The page will not reply that the date is free. Opening hours are not published, so the form cannot check them. If the date matters, say so in the message as a preference and wait for an actual reply outside this page. Do not tell someone else that the appointment is booked.
Did my message arrive?
The page cannot know. It can tell you that a copy was saved on the device and that it tried to open a draft to [email protected]. You still have to send the draft. A mail program that opens a window has not delivered anything until you send. If you closed the draft, send a new message yourself. If you called, the call is separate from the form. The saved list on the contact page proves only that this browser kept the text. It does not prove that the workshop has read it.
Where is the saved list, and who can see it?
The list is in the browser’s local storage under the key tg-inquiries. It appears on the contact page and the service details page. It stays on that device. It is not an account, and it is not synced by this website. Anyone using the same browser profile can read it. Up to twenty requests are kept. Remove them with the button on either page, or clear site data. Deleting the list does not unsend an email. The privacy policy is the full description of this storage. The cookie policy explains that this storage is not a cookie and that the site’s scripts do not set cookies.
Are there prices anywhere?
No price, currency, or total is displayed. The catalog cannot be sorted by price. The forms have no card field and no checkout. A question about cost is a question for the workshop by phone, email, or the message itself. The website will not answer that question with a number of its own. Terms on the site say the same thing so that a card is not mistaken for a shop window with hidden figures.
Are the photos of the workshop?
They are automotive workshop scenes used to illustrate the categories. The alt text describes what is in the frame. They are not presented as photographs of the Trusted Garage building, of a particular job, or of staff. The logo is a mark for the name. It is not a manufacturer logo. If you share a picture from the site, keep the same limit: it shows the kind of work, not a documented result.
Is Trusted Garage an official dealer workshop?
No. The site says Trusted Garage is not an authorized dealer, official service center, or manufacturer-approved workshop, and it is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer. That sentence is a factual limit. You can still bring a question about the make and model you own. The disclaimer repeats the limit so it is not left only in a footer.
What should I leave out of the message?
Leave out card numbers, bank details, passwords, and identity document numbers. Leave out information about other people unless you have a reason to include it and the right to do so. A vehicle identification number is not required. A phone number is optional. If you include a phone number, remember that the local copy is readable by anyone who uses the browser. Use your own email address, not someone else’s, unless you are sure they expect the mail.
Which page should I open first?
If you know the system, open that service: diagnostics, brakes, or maintenance, or the matching card. If you only know the symptom, start with diagnostics or with the catalog search. If you already know what you want to ask, go to contact. If you want the rules before you type, read the privacy policy and the terms. If you want to know what the site refuses to claim, read the disclaimer. The FAQ is the short version of those paths. It is not a second set of promises.
Nothing in these answers adds a repair time, a warranty, a certification, a partnership, or a rating. If an answer is shorter than you hoped, the missing detail is not published. Call, email, or write the request, and keep the description of the car factual.
Practical answers that stay inside the published facts
Can you visit without writing first? Yes. The address is Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary. The site does not tell you which hour the door is open. Can you call without the form? Yes. The number is +36 20 838 2111. Can you email without the form? Yes. The address is [email protected]. The form is an extra path that stores a local copy and prepares a draft. It is not a requirement for the other three.
Can the FAQ tell you the cost? No. Can it tell you how long a repair takes? No. Can it tell you that a light means a particular sensor? No. Can it tell you that a date you typed is reserved? No. Can it tell you the workshop is an official dealer? No. Those refusals match the disclaimer. The FAQ is allowed to repeat the address, the phone, and the email as often as needed, because those are published. It is not allowed to grow new credentials because a question feels incomplete without them.
If your question is not listed, the next page is usually obvious. A system question belongs on that service page. A storage question belongs on the privacy policy. A cookie question belongs on the cookie policy. A “what am I agreeing to” question belongs on the terms. A “what must I not assume” question belongs on the disclaimer. The FAQ is the index of those doors. Walking through the right door is better than stretching a short answer until it says something the site does not mean.
Where the short answers stop
The FAQ stops where the published facts stop. It will repeat Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary, +36 20 838 2111, and [email protected]. It will explain the local copy and the email draft. It will not grow a price, an hour, a rating, or a dealer approval to make an answer feel finished. When an answer feels unfinished, the unfinished part is intentional, and the disclaimer is the page that says so at full length.
No extra promise at the end of the FAQ
The last answer is the same as the first limit. Ask with the facts you have, at Összekötő u. 1, 1173 Budapest, Hungary, on +36 20 838 2111, or at [email protected], and do not upgrade the website into a quote, a booking, or a dealer certificate on the way.
